Soroptimists of Dundas-Ancaster-Flamborough Live Your Dream Award: Cash grants for women who are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training.

Requirements: Complete online application at link below. Application includes eligibility form, essay questions and two references. Applicants must be the primary financial supporter of their family.
Deadline Date: Dec. 1, 2018
Value: Two $1,500 bursaries available, applicants can win up $16,000 if chosen as international winner

CGTrader Scholarship: An award for students who dig into the field of technology by writing an essay on how innovative technologies are transforming our lives.

Requirements: Write and submit an original 500-1,000-word essay on the topic “Our life on a spaceship: the future of mankind.”
Deadline Date: Dec. 14, 2018
Value: $2,000 for winner, 2 runners up will receive $500 each

Elska Naturals Scholarship: A scholarship awarded to a student that has a passion for helping others and giving back to those in need.

Requirements: Submit an essay, video, or music piece about an experience you’ve had in life where you had the opportunity to help someone. Talk about your vision for your future and how you hope to achieve it.
Deadline Date: Dec. 15, 2018
Value: $1,000

Heer Law Entrepreneurship Scholarship: A scholarship to help entrepreneurial students move their ideas forward.

Requirements: Submit, in confidence, a copy of a business plan for a current or prospective business. Since Heer Law is an intellectual property law firm, your business plan must include a section outlining your business’s intellectual property strategy for our consideration.
Deadline Date: Dec. 31, 2018
Value: $2,000

DesignContest Student Aid Program: The program will award thirteen scholarships per year to students that demonstrate top research academics skills.

Requirements: Write a 1,500-2,000-word essay on one of 10 topics including: What makes top converting web pages; logo historical development and the future trends; how to build a brand; and print technology and its future.
Deadline Date: Dec. 31, 2018
Value: $1,500

Transcripts for Part-Time OSAP: We are now accepting unofficial transcripts from McMaster students who are asked to supply transcripts after applying for Part-Time OSAP. Access and print your unofficial transcript in Mosaic: Student Centre > My Academics > Unofficial Transcript. Learn more on transcripts


OSAP Income Update: Check your OSAP portal for a requirement to update your income. If you have this requirement it must be completed to main eligibility for the McMaster General Bursary. Even if you have no changes to report, you are required to submit the online form. Find Income Update deadlines.
